Flight Status: **ACTIVE**

I went up for a half an hour today with my brother Joe, to see if I remembered how to fly. Turns out I do!

It was cool finally seeing green things from the air, instead of white and brown. There was a little turbulence aloft but nothing too bad. All I can say is thank goodness for checklists. Going through them really jogged my memory on procedures.

My GPS tracker decided to work today so I'll post the flight log tonight when I get home from work.

Glad to hear you can also still fly. Don't think I'm still not thinking about Oshkosh, by the way...

I'm still going, but I'm not sure about flying - there's 3 other guys that want to go and the Warrior can't carry them, their bags, and enough fuel to be safe. I could rent the Archer but then it starts getting pretty expensive.

Hmm yea we'll have to see. A guy who reads my blog from Australia is coming to Ohio in July to train at Stewart (crazy the connections that happen online) and wants to head up to Airventure too. Tho they might be planning on driving. Anyway, I've debated whether I should fly or not myself. Would be quite the adventure.
